| Benjamin is Mexican. He said his Dad was Maya. He did not think he would stay in Thailand that long He had got an accident when he rid on motor cycle. He broke his leg. So he needed to extend the stay here. He would not take workshop if he had not had the accident. He with dreadlocked hair looked a typical hippie whom you could often meet on the streets in Chiang Mai. However he was a bit different and looked very happy. He always sang songs loudly and spoke English with the interjection, Thai word "Chai Chai" which means "yes it is". People giggled to hear his words with strong Spanish accent. But he did not mind it at all. I am glad to meet him and so for good memory I bought stones from him:Guatemalan jades and Mexican ambers. He is also a creator and makes necklaces with knitting colorful yarn putting power stones. |
